Road to 40

 

In 2018, Junior Achievement Bahamas will celebrate forty years of youth empowerment, business education and leadership development that has impacted over 200,000 Bahamians nationwide. In celebrating the success of our programmes, social and educational activities, scholarships and mentorship opportunities, 2018 will also represent a transitional moment for JA Bahamas. As our organization journeys on the 'road to 40,' there is a nationwide call to action for alumni and supporters of JA Bahamas to recommit their time, talents and financial support to the continuation and advancement of JA Bahamas. 

 

On the Road to 40, JA Bahamas aims to:​

  • Establish Scholarship Foundation 

  • Impact 20,000 (2015-2016); 30,000 (2016-2017); 40,000(2017-2018) students nationwide. 

  • Draft the plans for the JA Bahamas Financial Park and Entrepreneurship Center

  • Strengthen corporate and community partners of JA Bahamas 

  • 2018 & Beyond Strategic Plan

 

During the 40th Celebrations the following events are expected to take place:

  • JA Bahamas Hall of Fame Induction & Ceremony 

  • Publication of JA Bahamas 40th Anniversary Commemorative Book 

  • JA Bahamas Documentary 

  • Limited Edition JA 40 Pin 

  • Breaking ground of the JA Bahamas Financial Park and Entrepreneurship Center
