College Bound – For one week, approximately 100 achievers from Junior Achievement Bahamas travel to the United States visiting college campuses, historic sites and financial facilities.  The annual College Bound trip is specifically designed to afford achievers an opportunity to tour schools, grant exposure to the diverse campuses and programs offered and an opportunity to access the colleges and universities that may be best suited for their career goals and academic plans.  This year JA Year, the group will travel to the Texas, visiting both Houston and Galveston.  We are scheduled to visit the following colleges/universities;

 

• Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services

• Media Tech Institute

• Texas Southern University

• University of Huston Victoria. 

 

We will also the following sites:

 

• National History Museum of Funeral History

• Ocean Corporation

• Houston Escape Room

• Houston Space Center

• Pleasure Pier

• Galveston Walking Tour.

 

College Bound 2020  is scheduled for April 5th  to April 11th , 2020 and the cost for the entire trip is $1,400.00 per person, inclusive of hotel, airfare, ground transportation and tours/activities.
